Silver Wolf is part of the Seminole Tribe of Florida; she was born and raised on the Hollywood reservation, where she lived for most of her life. She was always an artistic person, sometimes drawing during class or on any piece of paper she could find. Some members of her family were craftsmen, her mom would sew traditional clothing for her family and occasionally do beadwork. During high school, she was always interested in photography, the T.V. show America’s Next Top Model inspired her to enroll into a 10-month photography course in Turner Falls, Massachusetts. During her time there, Silver thought about her future, her original plan was to become a fashion photographer; most of her photos were based on fashion or make-up; Silver and her family returned to Florida in 2016.

In 2019 along with her younger sister who graduated high school that same year, Silver enrolled into the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA). She wasn’t planning on going, but her younger sister had a bad experience with her high school roommate. To help with making her dorm life easier she offered to enroll. At first her chosen studio art emphasis was painting, but she decided to change that in the fall of 2021. Silver took her first dive into ceramics; she found a new interest while in this class; she loved working with clay and enjoyed the hands-on experience when creating. She is currently working on developing her pottery wheel techniques, experimenting with diverse types of clay and pushing herself to her limits.
